Gibrán Ramírez ReyesSecretary General

Gibrán Ramírez Reyes is a Doctor of Political and Social Sciences, with an honorable mention, from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). In addition, Master in Political Science from The College of Mexico. He attended his degree in Political Science and Public Administration, also at UNAM, an institution where he won the Gabino Barreda Medal in 2012 for university merit for better use. In addition, he has studies in Constitutional Law by the Center for Political and Constitutional Studies of the Government of Spain.

Gibran Ramírez was Parliamentary Advisor to the Senate of the Republic of Mexico and the Constituent Assembly of Mexico City. He has experience as a national and international consultant for different civil society organizations and public institutions on issues related to governance, public policies, social inequality and political participation.

Since 2011 he has taught more than 20 undergraduate courses related to the Methodology of Political Research, State Theory, National Security, State and Society in Mexico, Political Science and Constitutional Law.

He is a columnist in various national and international mass media such as: El País de España, Milenio, El Sur de Acapulco, Nexos and Horizontal magazines, as well as being a panelist in the TV show Es La hora de Opinar of Foro TV.

His publications include his collaboration in books such as Historia colectiva de medio siglo (2018); International policy. Temas de análisis 3 (2017); Poder y elecciones en México (2012).
