About us

The Inter-American Conference on Social Justice (CISS), founded on 1942, is an international technical and specialized organization, that aims to support development of protection and social security in the american continent.
It is formed by 83 members from 36 countries and territories in Amercia, among which we find main, associates, adherents and linked institutions by country. All of them have tasks related to protection and social security in areas such as normativity, management, administration, supervision, studies and research.
The CISS propels the creation of reflection spaces, research, dialogue and international exchange for welfare and the collective construction of programs and proposals to ensure the right to social security.
Our international organization promotes the search of common interests among its different members, regardless of their political or ideological orientation, to promote inclusive public policies, in favor of people’s welfare.
