Who are we?
Founded in 1942, is a permanent specialized international technical organization that aims to promote the development of social protection and security in the Americas.
It is made up of more than 85 members from 37 countries of the Americas, among these are featuring titular, associated, linked and adherent institutions by country, with tasks related to protection and social security in areas of normativity, administration, management, supervision, studies and research.
The CISS promotes spaces for reflection, research, dialogue and international exchange for well-being, and the collective construction of programs and public policy proposals to guarantee the right to social security.
Our international organization promotes the search for common spaces among its different members, regardless of their ideological or political vocation, for the promotion of inclusive public policies, in the interest of people´s welfare.
